Kindermusik Our TimeKindermusik Our Time
16 to 36 months

The 16 to 36 month old pushes for the chance to explore and investigate, but still relishes the time spent with an adult. An Our Time class focuses on your child’s emotional Boy with shaker development as confidence, curiosity, self-control, and communication begin to take shape. Recognizing a child’s need for both the freedom to try new experiences and the assurance of your support, Our Time encourages discovery with you at the center of each adventure. We will be focusing our listening skills, playing with instruments, moving our bodies and singing.

“Creatures At the Ocean”
Ages: 16-36 months, with adult

This class will meet for five, 60 minute sessions.  This wonderful program engages the curiosity, natural musical gifts and sensitivity of the very young child.  Child and parent, or caregiver, will learn about the great outdoors and interesting creatures unique to the coastal environment through singing, creative movement, instrument play, chants, finger plays and story time. We will dive into lessons such as On My Beach Blanket, Ridng the Waves and The Deep Blue Sea.  The $40 material fee includes daily picture/song folders, a listening CD, a set of seashell castanets, and the daily craft materials.

This class is for adult and child together and is limited to 12 families.  A small craft project will be included during the end of the hour.  If you have more than one child attending this class and that child is over 17 months of age (as of June 15, 2009) that child may participate in this class for an additional $60.  If an older child is also enrolled in “On the Road”, that child may sit in at no additional cost.  If a visiting sibling is younger than 10 months that child may sit in at no additional cost.   Please note, this class is designed to be a special time for the enrolled toddler and attending adult.  If a younger sibling joins the class who is crawling (i.e. out of an infant seat or infant carrier) we encourage you to consider joining our “Family Time” summer program.
