ILLNESS OR MISSED CLASSES:

• If you are away or if you, or your child, is ill we encourage you to rest at home and make up your class at another time during the semester. You are welcome to come to another class of your child’s age group, or to the next older age group class.
• The website always has a current class schedule listed. This information is posted on our home page, and is there for you to choose an available class for make-up. You may make up a class at any of our studios.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE – REFUND POLICY:

• The total tuition cost is due at the time of registration. This fee includes a $10 registration fee, a $60 curriculum fee and the class tuition fee for the total number of weeks of your child’s class.
• The $10 registration fee is a part of the total tuition and is not refundable.
• The tuition, minus the registration fee, is refundable if you notify the director 15 days prior to the start of class.   
• It is important to us that you, and your child, are pleased with your Kindermusik experience!  Please feel free to talk with your Kindermusik teacher if you have concerns about your child or the class itself.

SIBLING POLICY/ SIBLING DISCOUNTS:

• Our older programs, "Young Child" and "Imagine That!" are independent for children and teacher together. During "sharing time" when the adult joins the child’s class, younger siblings are always welcome.
• When two children are enrolled in different programs, the younger child will receive a reduction in the total tuition cost of $30.
• If you already have materials from an older child, the younger sibling may attend a class without including the cost of the curricula package. You may reduce the total tuition cost by $60. If you have already purchased the materials with an older child, you may order a sibling kit (instrument and home activity book) and reduce your cost by $25.
• In an "Our Time" class, a child under 12 months of age, as of Sept. 1 (fall) or Feb. 1 (spring) may attend class at no additional cost.
• Family Time vs. Our Time – for two young children, both between 12 months and 42 months, we recommend staying in the lower energy, "Our Time" class. If one child is over 3½ years, we recommend the higher energy "Family Time" class, or an"Imagine That! class as there will be a greater variety of activities to engage the older child.
• Concurrent classes: We offer classes for older children (Imagine That! and Young Child) at the same time that we offer "Our Time" classes for younger children with a parent attending. Class times are staggered at the start to allow for the adult and younger sibling to re-join the older child’s class for sharing time in the final 10 minutes. Concurrent classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings when we have two teachers teaching in the studios in West Chester and Lionville.

CLASS SIZE/CLASS VARIETY:

• All Kindermusik classes are limited in size to 12 families. "Imagine That!" classes are limited to 9 children.
• Kindermusik offers 6 different age groups of classes. Each class specifically focuses on the developmental aspects of the individual child.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

• Classes are postponed due to bad weather. When classes are cancelled there will be a message on our studio answering machine (610 436-9194) and on the home page of this website by 8:00 am. Class will be made up the following week.
• A limit of two classes per semester will be made up due to bad weather. If the public school district where the studio is located closes schools due to weather we will not have class that day. Click on this link: http://www.kyw1060.com/pages/487766.php
